Dustin Canalin is a multi disciplinary Creative Director, Product Designer and Artist currently working in New York City. A respected basketball and lifestyle expert, Dustin was at the helm of the Nike and NBA partnership throughout the 2017 & 2018 Seasons. He also directed Nike Basketball’s “Special Projects,” creating a new vision for collaboration and Signature Athlete collections .
Prior to Nike, Dustin founded UNDRCRWN Footwear & Apparel, where he acted as Creative Director for 10 years.
Since entering the industry in 1999, he has lead creative design at Nike, And1, Ecko Unltd., Zoo York, Mitchell & Ness and adidas. His collaborative partnerships have included work with brands like UNDFTD, adidas, Stussy, EA Sports, Under Armour, The NBA and many other notable lifestyle brands.
Dustin’s distinguished style has created a niche in the marketplace as a designer with clever concepts that are complemented with high quality garments and a strong celebrity following. In honor of Dustin’s influence in the fashion industry, he received the Johnnie Walker Blue Label 35 Under 35 Award, commending the brightest young minds who set the standard in their respective industries. Dustin’s graphic design has also ranked twice in the “50 Greatest Streetwear T-Shirts of All Time” listing by Complex Magazine.
Dustin began his studies in design at the California College of Arts and Craft (now known as California College of The Arts) in San Francisco.
